(The Philippine Star) - May 14, 2016 - 10:00am

MANILA, Philippines – Cinema One and PhilStar TV’s breakthrough series “Single/Single” returns for another season with leveled-up comedy, kilig and relevance for today’s millennial audiences.

Watch the premiere episode of Single/Single Season 2 tonight at 10 p.m. on Cinema One and catch up with your favorite Single/Single characters who will be facing new issues, dilemmas and challenges as they forge ahead, learning “#HowToAdult” in a complicated digital world.

Find out what happens to the characters of Matteo Guidicelli and Shaina Magdayao – Joey and Joee – who are now living separately and moving forward from a romance that didn’t quite work out. Tita Bianca, Joey’s foxy mom, portrayed by veteran actress Cherie Gil, returns from New York and with a new flame in tow. Rounding up the gang are Ranee, played by Cinema One Originals actress Anna Luna, and Benny, played by theater actor Brian Sy, whose individual entanglements are equally interesting and engaging.

The premiere episode promises to be exciting with hilarious catch-ups and awkward one-on-ones among the characters as they go “glamping” to celebrate Joey’s birthday.

For the whole Single/Single Season 2, expect quality entertainment that raises worthy issues and themes. Beyond comedy and romance, Single/Single tackles quarter-life crises, the importance of managing finances, planning a career path and maintaining work-life balance – matters relevant for today’s urban millennials.
