TARLAC CITY, Philippines – President Aquino will cast his vote at precinct 0187B of the Central Elementary School in Hacienda Luisita, Barangay San Miguel here on Monday.
Numer Lobo, the city’s election officer, said the school has only four precincts – 01851, 0186A, 01874 and 0187B – where Aquino will cast his vote for the last time as president.
He added that the school’s Board of Election Inspectors chairman Wilfredo Hipolito would be responsible in assisting the President.
All 291 vote counting machines intended for the city arrived last Wednesday, while the four assigned to Hacienda Luisita were working when tested, except for a slight problem with the thermal paper, which vibrated while in operation.
During the previous presidential election, Aquino waited three hours to have a defective precinct count optical scan machine replaced before he was able to cast his vote.
