MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Postal Corp. (PhlPost) will issue a commemorative stamp in honor of Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
PhlPost said it would have to secure the permission of the Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) to allow the printing of the commemorative stamp featuring the 26-year-old beauty queen.
PhlPost Marketing Management and Support Services manager Enrique Tagle said the PhlPost board had agreed last Jan. 11 to issue the stamp.
Wurtzbach, who was crowned as Miss Universe 2015 last Dec. 20, would soon join the PhlPost roster of “living legends” bestowed with the rare privilege of being featured in a postage stamp.
