MANILA, Philippines – The Liberal Party on Monday will announce its official vice presidential candidate for the 2016 national elections.

Camarines Rep. Leni Robredo is scheduled to announce her vice presidential bid at the Kalayaan Hall of Club Filipino in San Juan City.

Robredo will be accepted as the LP’s standard-bearer Manuel “Mar” Roxas II’s running-mate despite her initial reluctance to seek higher post.
