MANILA, Philippines — Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo on Tuesday admitted she is in the process of deciding whether to seek for reelection or to run for Senate.

"'Yung paghahanda ko reelction pero dahil nandun yung option na subukan yung Senado titignan ko yung numbers," Robredo said in an interview with ANC.

The lawmaker noted that her past survey ratings have been low, particularly in Mindanao.

"Ang baba ng awareness ko dito. Mababa 'yung rating. Kaya siguro titignan ko ulit ngayon 'yung survey... kasi kung malayo naman doon na lang ako sa amin," Robredo said.

The third quarter surveys for the 2016 national elections are set to be released this month.

Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel "Mar" Roxas II has considered Robredo to be his running mate for the 2016 polls but the Camarines Sur lawmaker said that she is not interested to run for a higher position.
