MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines is still looking forward to seven national holidays before the end of 2014.
President Benigno Aquino III signed Proclamation 655 last September 25, 2013 which declared 18 national holidays, including December 24 and 25 as a special non-working holiday "to foster closer family ties and enable our countrymen to observe Christmas more meaningfully."
