MANILA, Philippines — The Senate Blue Ribbon committee will proceed with the inquiry into the allegedly anomalous construction of a P1.56-billion parking building in Makati City, which the local government approved when Vice President Jejomar Binay was still its mayor.
Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin "Junjun" Binay, former barangay chairmen and representatives from the National Statistics Office were invited to the hearing, scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014.
