Tytana grad ranks 2nd in nutritionist dietitian exam

MANILA, Philippines - Among the 634 board passers in the July 2014 nutritionist-dietitian licensure examination, Manila Tytana Colleges’ Kristine Vitasa ranked second with an average of 84.95. Tytana posted an 84.62 percent passing rate with 23 successful examinees. The Professional Regulation Commission and the Board of Nutrition and Dietetics announced that a total of 997 took the exam, posting a national passing rate of 63.59 percent. In 2008, Tytana offered Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition with Culinary Arts, the first and only program in the country to combine dietetics, wellness and culinary nutrition. True to its commitment of producing industry-oriented and highly employable graduates, Tytana employs an academe-industry framework to ensure successful board-passers as well. Tytana is the educational arm of the Metrobank Group of Companies.
