Big campaign rallies not an edge in winning votes – Chiz

BAYOMBONG, NUEVA VIZCAYA, Philippines – Re-electionist Sen. Francis Escudero does not believe big campaign rallies are an edge in wooing votes or in winning the elections.

The senator said last Thursday that holding big campaign rallies is very expensive and it would be unfair for the local partymates to shoulder the expenses in mobilizing crowds.

He said not a single government fund has been used in his campaign, and he never attended or joined any of the campaign sorties of the LP or Team Pnoy or of the opposition UNA.

Escudero said he and Senate aspirant Grace Poe- Llamanzares are both running as independent candidates.
