Lotto jackpot soars to P136 M

MANILA, Philippines - The jackpot prize of the 6/55 Grand Lotto draw is expected to hit P136 million tonight after nobody got the winning combination during Monday’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, however, said that although nobody hit the six-digit winning combination 20-47-04-02-09-40 which carried the jackpot of P127,042,128.00, at least 11 players won the second prize of P150,000 by picking five digits of the winning combination.

He said the expected jackpot for tonight’s draw is P136 million or more, depending on ticket sales, which also increased from the average of P25 million per draw to P48 million last Monday.
