MANILA, Philippines — APO Hiking Society members Jim Paredes and Boboy Garovillo paid tribute to former President Benigno Aquino III with the song “Noy.”

In his YouTube channel, Jim posted the song’s music video.

“A song I made for Pnoy after I heard about his passing. My humble tribute to a great man,” he wrote.

In the song, Jim said he’s saddened by the passing of Noy.

Jim and Boboy also performed the song at the “Salamat PNoy: Alaala At Alay Ng Musikang Pinoy,” an event honoring PNoy to mark the 40th day of his death.

The event was hosted Jim and Leah Navarro.
