Laban always, Alex!

In the dark tunnel of endless political chaotic drama in the Senate, school violence and flood control anomalies is a bright shining star who single-handedly put our beloved country on the international stage.

Alex Eala, the rising grand slam winner, dubbed the WTA Cinderella, has brought enormous pride, honor, prestige to our country and the Filipinos! Her humility, resilience, courage, calmness in the face of seasoned high-ranking opponents, drew international media attention.

Her wholesome, smiling personality, sincere appreciation and gratefulness endeared her to her supportive fans from all corners of the world, who respond like a community movement wherever she plays, proudly waving our flag, chanting “Laban always.”

Alex has been warmly welcomed, honored by heads of state, world’s greatest players who watched her play. She even got invited to the Elysee Palace. Prince William and King Charles complimented her for the support, happiness, pride and honor she gives to the hundreds of OFWs working in European countries. Elon Musk watched her play and distributed t-shirts marked “Laban always” with the Filipino flag. World renowned brands compete in offering partnerships/endorsements.

Such is the tale of Alex Eala. We gave her nothing … yet she gave enormous contributions: pride, honor, hope, prestige, inspiration to Filipino youth… vis-a-vis the corrupt politicians and government officials, who stole billions and caused massive humiliation, embarrassment to our country, not to mention financial disaster!

Numerous generous donations were also given her by heads of state to put up tennis courts in various parts of our country, as well as scholarships, all under her name. And she is reported to be donating part of her prize money to our aspiring youth.

Maraming salamat, Alex Eala… for the distinct honor you’ve given to our beloved country, now talked about, alongside your name, with respect worldwide.  For carrying our country whenever, wherever in your competitions, saying you are playing for the Philippines, your way of paying back!
