MANILA, Philippines — Singer Jimmy Bondoc has apologized to Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin following their word war on social media regarding Bondoc’s post that said he is excited to see “the biggest TV network close down.”

In an interview with blogger and media personality Mocha Uson, Jimmy said that while he has no problem with the celebrities working in ABS-CBN, he rants about the system the network presumably follows.

Jimmy clarified that he wanted the discussion to be in person so they can both understand each other’s sentiments.

Jimmy said.

He also asked the celebrities who criticized him to answer the real point of his post.

“Sana, sagutin din nila ‘yung totoong point ng post, which is bakit meron tayong ganitong sistema ng kapangyarihan sa media na kahit ano yata pwede na nilang sabihin. Kahit sinong sagasaan, kahit sinong mawalan ng trabaho, hindi ko po maintindihan ‘yun,” he said.
