WATCH: Catriona Gray explains what she would like to change in the Philippines

MANILA, Philippines — Two months after winning the Philippines’ fourth Miss Universe crown, Catriona Gray has been actively sharing her opinion on key social issues, most recently, about the proposed measure to lower the minimum age of criminal responsibility to 12 years old.

As a children’s welfare advocate, Gray said in an interview with News5 that the focus should be on the “external pressures” that push children to be involved in crimes and not the lowering of the age of criminal liability.

During her homecoming press conference in Quezon City last Wednesday, the singer-beauty queen shared what she thinks should be changed in the Philippines besides the issue of lowering the age of criminal responsibility. — Deni Rose M.
