BANGKOK, Thailand — Hours before Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray leaves for the Philippines, HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana and the beauty queen met.
Sirivannavari, daughter of the King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn, visited Catriona on Tuesday.
During their meeting, Sirivannavari reportedly congratulated Catriona for her pageant victory.
She also gave the Filipina beauty queen gifts which include an elegant evening gown designed by her namesake label, Sirivannavari. She was also given the brand’s special New Year gift.
The Thai princess graduated with a degree in fashion design at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
Catriona was crowned the 67th Miss Universe in the final competition held Monday at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
She arrived in Manila on Wednesday afternoon.
