MANILA, Philippines — When Joshua Garcia proposed to Julia Barretto for Star Magic Ball, did Julia agree not just to be his date for one night but also for good?
Judging by their closeness and endless cuddles, JoshLia were inseparable and were arguably the sweetest couple to have walked on the red carpet last Saturday night in Makati Shangri-La.
Members of the press, including Philstar.com, heard the two whisper and call each other “babe.” They seem to be trying to be discreet about it in their attempt to make their alleged relationship a mystery.
When Joshua was asked what he thinks about Julia’s look, he declared: “Perfect!”
“Sexy! Pinaghirapan n’ya talaga ‘yan!” he added in an interview with event hosts Tim Yap and Bianca Gonzalez-Intal.

It can be recalled that Joshua proposed to Julia by sending an entire choir to her garden.
Julia woke up to that “indescribable” scene. “It’s so hard to describe a feeling. I was very overwhelmed. It felt like a dream! I guess, it’s every girl’s dream to experience something like that.”
Joshua said he prepared for the proposal for a week. “Kasi MWF ‘di kaya kasi may taping ako, kaya ‘di ko maasikaso. Pero may mga tinatawagan ako.
Even if he has a soap opera, “The Good Son,” he makes sure to make time for his lady love. “Oo naman, kailangan ‘yun. ‘Pag gusto mo, hahanap ka talaga ng paraan.”
Whenever Julia slipped in her long Mark Bumgarner dress during the ball, Joshua helped her through and through like a true gentleman should be.
