MANILA, Philippines — Actor Daniel Matsunaga is not sure if he is ready to love again, but if that happens, is fellow “I Can Do That!” star Arci Muñoz the first in line?
“I’m focusing on my work, but you’ll never know. My heart is open!” Daniel told reporters in a group interview following his launch as Avon Philippines’ first male celebrity endorser for intimate apparel.
“People are linking us right now. Bagay ba kami?” Daniel asked reporters if he and Arci look good together.
He admitted that he is hoping for an opportunity to do a new soap opera with Arci. He said he is getting a lot of proposals for movies, but now, he enjoys being with Arci on the set of “I Can Do That!” They are expected to become closer when they go on a working tour in New York next month.
“I leave everything on God’s hands. Arci is a beautiful girl. She’s very smart, she’s very nice. We have this same show right now. We spend a lot of time together. You’ll never know,” said Daniel, who won a local football tournament that allows him and his team to represent the Philippines in a football match in Brazil.
If there is a woman in his life he treasures the most, it is his mom, Geralda.
“My mom, she’s the best person in the world. I wouldn’t be here if not because of her. Everything she taught me since I was a kid, since I left Brazil when I was 15 years old, at that age, you don’t leave your parents and go living by yourself if you don’t trust them…My parents, they’re the best people in the world. Their hearts are so true, so Godly. My mom taught me everything,” he said.
