BAGUIO CITY — Kapuso and Kapamilya stars were seen side-by-side at the Panagbenga flower float parade last weekend.

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, also known as the love team “AlDub,” were aboard GMA’s flower-studded float. On the other hand, Bea Alonzo was spotted with Enchong Dee, while their fellow ABS-CBN actor, Jericho Rosales, was in another float.

Miss International 2016 Kylie Versoza was like having a victory parade in a float filled with Baguio’s blooms. Last month, Miss Universe 2016 candidates, led by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, inaugurated the festival with a motorcade down the city’s Session Road.

Panagbenga is an annual flower festival celebrated every February in Baguio City. The term “Panagbenga” comes from a Kankanaey term meaning, “season of blooming.”

This festival, marked with street dances and giant flower-decked floats, reflects the history, traditions, and values of Baguio and the Cordilleras. It lasts for over a month and flourishes through community spirit and involvement.
