Wedding between a Kapatid & a Kapuso

MANILA, Philippines – Radiant in a gown by Jo Rubio, Kapatid TV host Maria Josefina “MJ” Romualdez Marfori, 27, exchanged vows with Kapuso reporter Oscar Elumba Oida Jr., 40, last Saturday afternoon, Jan. 30, at the San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila, capping a six-year romance that started when they covered the Department of Defense.

MJ is the third among the five children of Jose Enrique (deceased) and Teresita Romualdez, the daughter of Vicente Romualdez (the older brother of former First Lady Imelda Marcos). Oscar is the youngest among the four children (three are daughters) of former NBI director Oscar Oida Sr. and Beata Elumba Oida.

Among the principal sponsors (above) were PLDT-Smart big boss Manny V.
