MANILA, Philippines — Nearly all of this year's entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival this year are banking on the popularity of love teams, including the accidental-turned-phenomenal teamup of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.
Alden and Maine are starring in their first film together "My Bebe Love" alongside Vic Sotto and Ai Ai delas Alas.
James Reid and Nadine Lustre, meanwhile, star in the entry "Beauty and the Bestie."
Three love teams are also in the center of the story of "All You Need is Pag-ibig," Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, Ian Veneracion and Jodi Sta. Maria, and Kris Aquino and Derek Ramsay. — Joyce Jimenez
