MANILA, Philippines — Newlywed Heart Evangelista described Sen. Francis "Chiz" Escudero as a "perfect husband."
Combining politics and showbiz is a "bit intense," she said when asked if it is hard to be a politician's wife, in an interview on Wednesday.
"But you know, he's perfect guy, a perfect husband. He will bring you down on the ground for a bit to make things normal," she added.
Married for more than a month now, the Kapuso actress said the new life has been treating her well.
It wasn't hard for her also to adjust after living under the same roof with the politician, saying he has been honest and transparent with her since the start of their relationship.
"I already know a lot about him. Never naman siya nag-best foot forward," she said.
Heart also revealed big plans for 2016, namely being pregnant and holding her third art exhibit either on January or February next year.
