MANILA, Philippines - Tonight after 24 Oras Weekend, GMA 7’s Pepito Manaloto: Ang Tunay na Kuwento makes history as Regine Velasquez-Alcasid engages in a singing showdown with Jessa Zaragoza, playing Marissa and Deedee, respectively.
When Deedee notices that her singing career slowly gets stale, she will complain to her manager Tommy (Ronnie Henares). Tommy will reason out that he could not find any singing gig for her anymore because her music style does not match the taste of today’s generation.
But the truth is that Tommy has a new talent, Marissa, the biritera. He is busy managing Marissa’s career to the point that he already forgets about Deedee, which will lead to a heart-stopping singing battle between the two.
