MANILA, Philippines – After months of remaining mum on speculations, Sarah Geronimo finally admitted that she is in a relationship with Matteo Guidicelli.
“Sige, sabihin ko na po, boyfriend ko na po si Matteo... Kasi marami na rin nagsasabi na paligoy-ligoy, di ba, so yun po,†the singer-actress said in a taped interview aired on ABS-CBN's late night talk show “Aquino & Abunda Tonight†on Thursday, June 19.
The admission came after it was revealed that Matteo calls Sarah “mahal†as a term of endearment.
Reports that Matteo and Sarah are romantically linked surfaced July of last year. However, the two denied to comment on the status of their relationship.
But the couple have been open about their romance after photos of them together surfaced on social media recently—first with celebrity couple Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, and then earlier this month with Matteo's friends.
“I'm very, very happy. Sarah and I are very, very happy,†Matteo said in an interview with Philstar.com and other members of the press last Monday.
