MANILA, Philippines – Pauleen Luna admits she and boyfriend Vic Sotto talk about marriage. However, the Kapuso actress said does not want to get ahead of herself with the idea of settling down.

“Kung napaguusapan, napaguusapan naman talaga. But you know, until that day na mayroong solid plans, wala pa,” she said during the press conference of her upcoming GMA-7 soap opera “The Borrowed Wife” on Tuesday, January 14.

Both Vic and Pauleen have been open about the status of their relationship to the press the last few months, after more than a year of keeping mum on the issue. In TV interviews last month, Vic said he sees himself settling down again and that he still believes in marriage.

But when asked by members of the entertainment press if she sees marriage on the horizon for her and Vic this 2014, Pauleen said: “Ayokong pangunahan ang mga bagay-bagay. Right now, we’re very happy with where we are in our relationship. And we’re very open to each other. Kung ano yung gusto niya at gusto ko, nasasabi namin sa isa’t isa.”

“Kaya kung ano man ang mangyayari, hayaan na lang natin mangyari bago natin pagusapan,” she added.

Is she ready to say yes if and when Vic pops the question? “I don’t know. I’ll tell him my answer,” Pauleen said.

The “Borrowed Wife” star said she does not talk to her parents about marriage, but adds: "Well, of course, for them, mas okay 'yung pinaguusapan kaysa hindi pinaguusapan.

“Wala naman sigurong magulang na may gusto na may boyfriend yung anak niya tapos hindi pinaguusapan at all,” Pauleen said.

“The Borrowed Wife,” which also stars Camille Prats, Rafael Rosell, and TJ Triniad, premieres Monday, January 20, after “Villa Quintana” and “Magkano Ba Ang Pag-ibig” on GMA-7.
