Rock and rumble on Nick

MANILA, Philippines - It is the day to rock and rumble the Nickelodeon way. Because Nick Knock Out is finally here. An exciting outdoor event packed with physical and mental activities that make the cool-timate challenge, it will be held tomorrow, Nov. 27 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Molito Commercial Complex, Madrigal Ave. cor. Alabang Zapote Road, Alabang Muntinlupa City.

Challenge is the name and fun is the game. Kids will be given an opportunity to tackle the physical and mental bouts set for the day through play done the Nickelodeon way. Apart from it being a kid-lympic style of event that challenges the body and the mind, Nick Knock Out also aims to provide kids an outlet for friendly competition according to “play hard but play fair” which is Nick Knock Out’s battlecry.

Nicksters will enjoy the adrenalin-pumping obstacles such as the NKO Challenge Pyramid, the centerpiece of the play area and the ultimate physical challenge. Going through the trail and getting to the top of the pyramid means that they have the strength and determination. If they are successful in doing this, they get to sound off the NKO victory air horn. Challengers’ names and record time will also be written on the NKO Challenger Leader Board, a reminder that speed is also key in most competitions.

Go up to the Slime Pendulum and see if you can avoid getting knocked off by three foam-covered slime-soaked pendulums while walking across a narrow balance beam. Make your way through a hexagonal maze with swinging doors. Opt for the right exit door or choose a trap door and get wet with slime. Jump into a ball pit and see if you can find the buried items quicker than other challengers. Try Tire Twister II and find out how long until the tires tire you silly. The first one to reach the end and strike the Going Going Gong wins. Climb up the inflatable boxing ring and look like a knock-out without getting knocked out by your opponent.
