MANILA, Philippines - John Rollins, played by one of Hollywood’s most versatile actors, Norman Reedus, is desperate to save his farm from ruin. He finds a strange scarecrow in his barn, and after putting it up, his field’s condition improves. But what seems like his lucky charm actually bears a curse. Events that are terrifying inexplicably start to occur. John distances himself from his family, and begins to question his sanity.
Like the 2007 blockbuster hit, The Messengers, which starred Kristen Stewart (Bella of Twilight) and produced by Sam Raimi (The Grudge Trilogy, Drag Me To Hell), the prequel maintains a creepy tone and credible acting that will let the audience experience heightened terror and intrigue. Norman’s performance is to be noted.
Messengers 2: The Scarecrow opens Feb. 3 in theaters and is released by Viva International Pictures.
