MANILA, Philippines – Finalists in this year’s Mossimo Bikini Summit outshine one another on May 16, 9 p.m. at Fairways & Blue Water, Boracay. Eri Neeman, Cesca Litton and Andrew Smith host the competition.
Performers are Gian Magdangal, Dianne Elise, DJ Myke, Jem Marquez and Panky of Pinoy Dream Academy.
The 24 men and women who made the cut bested over 100 hopefuls in a two-day go-see.
The 11 female finalists are Shihan Go, Rachel Anne Bustamante, Sharla O’Hara, Darlene Anderson, Joanna Marie Tapales, Marie Jane Lopez, Gidget del Rosario, Terri Bivins, Vanessa Dime, Pia Noelle Burgos and Cheryl Oliveros.
The 12 male finalists are Andre Endique, Lemuelle Pelayo, Dexter Quindoza, Angelo Cacciatore, Harold Oide, Edouard George, Mark Manicad, Kenjie Lopez Zabala, JR Tirona, Jiro Shirakawa, Kevin John Zaldarriaga and Geronimo Lontoc Jr.
As highlight of Mossimo’s 10th anniversary, the bikini competition is expected to draw screams and cheers from spectators who may have to bear summer’s extreme heat alert compounded by rising temperatures caused by a steamy fashion spectacle conceptualized and staged by director Fritz Ynfante.
Grand prize winners will each bring home P100,000 in cash, P50,000 worth of Mossimo gift certificates and one-year free membership at Gold’s Gym. Runners-up will also get cash, Mossimo gift certificates and Gold’s Gym membership.
Mossimo Bikini Summit has produced some of the biggest names in the local entertainment and modeling industry like Carlo Maceda, Denise Montecillo, Jordan Herrera, Brent Javier, Martin Jickain, Joyce So, Thou Reyes, Gail Nicolas and Andrew Smith.
