SPED seminars for parents, educators

MANILA, Philippines – Patricia Muñoz, a fully credentialed special education teacher in California, will conduct the following SPED seminars: Techniques to Become Effective Educators & Parents to Children with Special Needs on May 3 at Sarile Chapel Multi-Purpose Center, Libertad St., Tugatog, Malabon City (For details, call 288-1378); Preparing an Effective IEP, a Vital Tool in the SPED Program, May 10; Art Therapy for Children with Special Needs & Their Caregivers, May 17 (1 to 5 p.m.), with Dr. Marian Alonzo; How to Cope When Your Child or Student is Special, May 24; and Music, a Powerful Therapy Intervention for Children with Special Needs, May 31, both with process facilitator Virgil Antonio.
