3rd CABC Corporate Cup fires off today
CEBU, Philippines — Eight teams will fight it out for hardcourt supremacy as the 3rd Cebu Architects Basketball Club (CABC) Corporate Cup gets underway this afternoon at the Cebu Port Authority gym in North Reclamation Area.
Before the games that will be determined by drawing of lots, a simple opening ceremony will take place at 12 nn.
The contenders in this year’s edition of the annual tournament are the Pioneer Pro, Cebu Home Builders, Landlite, Build Rite, ACC Blocks, Boysen Paints, IEE, and Davies Paints.
They will play in a single round robin format. The top four teams will enjoy twice-to-beat advantage over the lower-ranked squads in the quarterfinals.
Afterwhich will be the crossover semis wherein the winners will dispute the title in a knockout match. EBV
