CEBU, Philippines —  The Milo basketball clinic of the BEST Center opens it doors to five year olds as it puts up an additional class for the Preparatory Level which is designed for students between the ages of five and eight years old. The Preparatory Level is limited to 16 slots per class and an afternoon class was added to accommodate the requests of many.

The BEST Center basketball clinic of Milo will take place May 6 to 11 at the Sacred Heart School Mango Avenue campus.

The clinic is offering classes for Levels 1, 2 and 3, aside from the Preparatory Level. The Preparatory Level focuses on introducing the student to the sport and to develop his motor skills. Level 1 is for ball-handling; Level 2 for shooting and Level 3 for defense. The clinic also seeks to improve the students’ agility, movement and over-all basketball know-how.

Now on its 41st year, the BEST Center and Milo have partnered for Asia’s first school for basketball that has produced many of the biggest stars of the sport, past and present.

Among the products include the Ravena brotehrs Kiefer and Thirdy, Chris Tiu, Kobe Paras and his father Benjie, among others.

The BEST Center also partners with Milo for the annual SBP/Passerelle Twin Tournament, the biggest and longest-running tournament for the Under 12 and 15 age groups with a nationwide scope. The tournament takes place between July to August for the provincial legs, followed by a regional finals and the year-ending national finals.
