Oslob to host a hundred mile ultra race

CEBU, Philippines — Long distance runners will have something to look forward to this summer with the staging of the second edition of the South East Ultramarathon on May 3 in the municipality of Oslob.

The lung-busting 100-mile race will start and finish at the Aaron Beach Resort.

Fifty runners from all over the country will compete for the best time. 

Participants who will finish the race within the cut-off time of 34 hours will receive a commemorative buckle, plaque, shirt and dogtag.

Entry fee is pegged at P5,500 inclusive of starter’s dogtag, tracker cap, personalized race bib, resort entrance fee, post race meal and island hopping experience in Sumilon Island.

An entry must be 18 years old and above and a finisher of any single stage 100km or longer marathon event. The registrant must also provide a copy of his/her medical certificate (for first timers) and waiver of liability.
