House of I.T organizes first running event

CEBU, Philippines — The House of I.T, an information technology solutions company, will be holding an exclusive running event for its employees and business partners dubbed as "House of I.T Fun Run 1" happening this Sunday at the Pescadores Road in Cebu Business Park.

"We want the employees to be a contributor of knowledge, we want them to be creative and innovative in sharing their ideas the main reason why we have this type of activity, a part of the learning and development activity of the company," said House of I.T Corporate Human Resource and OD  Officer Alfie John Ortiz during a press conference yesterday at Alburs restaurant.

The run features the 3-kilometer, 5K and 10K categories.

House of I.T, a business processing outsourcing (BPO) company situated in Mabolo, specializes in IT solutions that mainly provides cyber security services among others. It has been operating for six years in Cebu with other branches in Manila, Davao and in Australia.

Around 500 runners are expected to join even though the race is not yet open for the running public but the organizers are planning to have it open to everyone in its next editions.

Special awards will also be given to the top three male and female finishers in each category.
