Aninon, Tan punch tickets to BTA-Prima Battle of the Best
CEBU, Philippines — Ed Aninon and Clifford Tan completed the cast of this year’s Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA)-Prima Battle of the Best set next month at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.
This after they topped the last monthly finals. Aninon finished the six-game series with 1,213 pinfalls to grab the top honors, while Tan wound up second with 1, 143 pins.
Vivian Padawan posted the same output as Tan but even though she didn’t get the higher spot, she already has a ticket to the grand finals being the top bowler in the month of September.
Clyde Tan came out fourth with 1,140 pins followed by Dory Enoveso with 1,119.
Rounding up the top 10 list were Boy Co (1,112), Bel Suelto (1,095), Clarence Tiu (1,093), Wilbert Yu (1,071) and Luke Bolongan (1,060). (FREEMAN)
