Tan wins Feb. title in BTA monthly

CEBU, Philippines — Clifford Tan emerged as February’s best in the BTA-Prima Monthly Open Tournament at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.

Tan raked in a total of 1,250 pinfalls during the six-game final.

Egay Alqueza placed second with 1,211 pins, while BTA president Bel Suelto took the  third spot with 1,183.

Xyrra Cabusas was fourth overall and the best female bowler of the month with 1,137 pins.

Rounding up the top 10 finishers were Aui Padawan (1,122), Boy Co (1,117), Vivian Padawan (1,114), Luke Bolongan (1,113), Clarence Tiu (1,109), and Arthur Tapaya (1,087). (FREEMAN)
