CEBU, Philippines - The Queen City of the South will once again play host to the exciting pre-season games of the forthcoming Liga Pilipinas Conference VI scheduled to be held from April 25 to 28 at the Cebu Coliseum.
Four teams will see action in the four-day tournament held as a runup to the regular 2012 Liga Pilipinas season set to kick of in the first week of May with no confirmed venue.
Leading the pack of contending squads are three-time national champion M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu City Niños, reigning titlist Misamis Oriental (MisOr) Meteors, RDAK/Mandaue-Cebu Landmasters and Laguna.
They will play in a single round robin format with the top two teams automatically slugging it out for the championship in a winner-take-all affair. — (FREEMAN)
