Kimboy Pineda is top expert rider

CEBU, Philippines - After a careful tabulation of points for each leg, Kimboy Pineda emerged as the top expert rider in the 2011 MS Motosuit Motocross Series.

Pineda may not have joined all legs in the last series but the victories he scored everytime he saw action was enough for him to clinch the overall supremacy in the expert class.

Pineda collected a total of 201 points followed by the crowd-darling John Flores, while last year’s Rider of the Year JonJon Adlawan could only make it to third place overall this time.

Flores, on the other hand, lorded it over in the intermediate division with 262 points, while Cyril Tariman came out as the top novice rider with 213 points.

Rey Quirol dominated two categories, the beginners production with 165 points and the local enduro with 196 points.

Donkey Sanchez ruled the open enduro class, while Jun Enriquez took the executive A overall crown with 271 points.

The rest of the overall titlists were Roscel Gungob in executive B with 294 points, Jerry Sicad in executive C with 288 points, BJ Pepito in the peewee class with 260 points and Jogie Basco in the mini category with 258 points. (FREEMAN)
