15TH GULLAS CUP TENNIS: Sister act for Siso siblings

CEBU, Philippines - It’s another sister act for the Siso siblings in the girls 18-under finals of the 15th Gullas Tennis Cup at the Cebu Country Club today.

Sally Mae Siso hopes to bounce back from her loss to her ate Sallydine in Dumaguete a few days back when they face each other again in the championship round.

The battle between the Siso sisters will not be an easy match to watch as Sallydine aims to prove that she can win over her sister and not only if Sally Mae retires again just like in Dumaguete following to exhaustion having played five other games prior to their match.

Sally Mae got a final ticket at the expense of Kristel Mae Buenacosa, 6-1, 6-2, while Sallydine won by default over Elma Dasian.

Aside from the girls 18, Sally Mae is also set to play in the girls 16 final against Krissiane Kintanar.That after Sally Mae silenced Khyle Longakit,6-0,6-0 and Kintanar outsmarted Christine Belleta,6-3,6-0.

Like Sally Mae, Kintanar also has two finals appearances today after winning her semifinal match against Francis Lorein Lanzado, 6-1, 6-1 in the boys 14.

Kintanar will tackle Elgy Dasian in the girls 14 final. Dasian moved up to the final round after kicking away Erika Keller,6-2,6-0.

On the other hand, the other Siso, Niño, also advanced into the final round via the boys 18 class.It will be a rematch between IsraMay 9.
