Bogo City gets P10M aid

Lorraine L. Ecarma - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu provincial government has set aside P10 million for the completion of the different projects in the City of Bogo.

In January 2019, the City of Bogo has requested for the realignment of P10 million of public funds to subsidize various infrastructure projects to be undertaken by the city.

This was done through the Bogo Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 009-2019.

The request for financial assistance was then referred to the Local Finance Committee for scrutiny under Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 58-2019.

Among the projects to be covered by the realignment is the construction of the Engineering and GSO building, the concreting of the Multi-Purpose Building and the construction of a Phase I drainage system.

The realignment was also requested so as to avoid the duplication projects in Bogo.

The resolution was authored by ex-officio Board Member Celestino Martinez III. (FREEMAN)
