CEBU, Philippines — One of the crowd favorites and the winningest Sinulog contingent, Sinanduloy Cultural Troupe of Tangub City, is expected to grace the 39th Sinulog Grand Parade on January 20 as guest performer.

Cebu City Councilor David Tumulak, who sits as chairman of the Sinulog Foundation Inc. Executive Committee, said the dancers from Tangub City will be offering a performance to pay homage to the Holy Child prior to the grand finale.

Tangub City has the most number of titles—12 titles in the 20 years of joining the competition. It was hailed champion in the Sinulog Grand Parade in the years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2017.

Tumulak said spectators can expect a grander celebration this year with highly-anticipated performances from Tangub City, Cebu City government, Cebu province, Philippine National Police, and Wonju Dynamic Dancing Carnival from South Korea.
