Two boys accuse gay neighbor of sexually molesting them

-

CEBU, Philippines – Two six-year-old boys claimed they were molested by their gay neighbor last week in one of the mountain barangays of Talisay City.

One of the victims approached Women and Children’s Protection Desk of Talisay City Police Station last Friday together with his mother to report the incident.

On Tuesday morning, the second victim also reported the incident to the same office and was able to talk with WCPD investigating officer SPO1 Margienett Yosores.

Yosores said that based on their investigation, the two boys went to the house of the 38-year-old suspect in the morning of March 20. The suspect allegedly serves as the “nanny” of another six-year-old boy who is a classmate of the two victims.

On that date, the victims allegedly went inside the house of the suspect after the latter offered to give them bread “after he played with their private organs.”

However, the two boys said that after the suspect played with their private organs, they were not given bread, so they just went to their respective homes.

Yosores said the molestation done on the two kids was learned by their respective mothers when they complained of severe pain every time they urinate.

The victims also disclosed to Yosores that the sexual molestation did not only happened once, claiming the suspect had done it to them several times before and were also promised to be given bread.

A charge for violation of Republic Act 7610 or Child Abuse was filed before Talisay City Prosecutor’s Office last Tuesday against the suspect. — Niña G. Sumacot with Brenda Batuto of Banat News/WAB (THE FREEMAN)
