A seven-hour power interruption is expected to hit barangay Pitogo, Consolacion from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. tomorrow in order for the Visayan Electric Company Inc. to install two new 40 feet concrete poles in the area.
VECO said the activity was supposed to be done last Friday but was postponed due to the bad weather.
Other areas in Consolacion that would be affected include the entire sitio Laray, R. Maglasang Road and Cosmos Street.
Another power interruption from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will hit a portion of Jamestown Subdivision and San Roque in Talisay City.
VECO said the power interruption is necessary in order for it to replace two rotten poles with two new concrete ones.
VECO added that these interruptions are needed to improve its facilities in the affected areas. — Mitchelle L. Palaubsanon/LPM
