Felimon Amodia Sr. committed suicide and was found already dead at around 8 in the morning.
"Base sa mga silingan ug sa iyang pag-umangkon nisulti na diay siya (Amodia) daan nga maghikog siya tungod sa daghan niya problema" SPO2 Rene Elacion said.
Amodia arrived last Sunday from Bacolod city after he visited his daughter. Amodia and his wife have been separated for many years now.
"Gusto man gyud sa biktima nga paadtoon ang asawa para mangita ug balay" SPO2 Elacion said.
Joan Fernandez, Amodia's niece, said Amodia had told her he was taking his own life because of problems with his wife and children.
