Look not hard for cash each day
We live in a place where cash is easy
Pick a trash squandered in one’s milieu
Puts the world safe for me and you
Used paper, plastic, rubber, bottle or cans
With lots of users for those with brilliant plans
Ward off pollution and tragedy of any kind
Save life, likewise one surely gets a dime
In school, home, streets and workplace, too
Unscrupulous people unmindful of waste’s value
Eventually these would clog up our sewage
Environment would become polluted and damaged
It seems little and simple pieces we throw
Anywhere else, we don’t mind them for value
Despite campaign efforts in solid waste segregation
Man’s sluggishness causes harsh repercussion
In waste, many useful things can be made
Recycled baskets and other livelihood projects
For consumption and entrepreneurial purposes
Economic affluence and life’s comfort lie ahead.
