Gazini Ganados to grace Sunday’s Pasigarbo sa Sugbo

CEBU, Philippines — Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados excitedly announced on her Instagram account that she will be participating in this Sunday’s Pasigarbo sa Sugbo Festival.

“Maayong Hapon Cebu! Aaahhh guess what, I’m coming home on the 25th for the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo at Abellana Sports Complex! Can’t wait to see all of you!” the 23-year-old Talisay resident Gazini said in her post.

The return would be Gazini’s long overdue official homecoming, which was scheduled to take place earlier but had been postponed because of conflicting schedules.

Cebu’s pride will hold a meet and greet tomorrow, August 24, 5 p.m., at the Cube Wing Atrium of SM Seaside City Cebu. Fans can also revel in her winning Cary Santiago gown, named “The Phoenix,” currently in display at the Mountain Wing Atrium of SM Seaside City Cebu until August 26.

The Pasigarbo sa Sugbo Festival, one of the highlights of Cebu’s 450th founding anniversary, is a celebration that will boast of the province’s many festivals, with over 40 cities and municipalities showing off their respective festivals at the grand stage of the Cebu City Sports Complex on Sunday, Aug. 25 .
