Jessy Mendiola is reportedly making things difficult for the Ad and Promo Department of Regal Entertainment. She is currently doing a film for Regal and she is not quite cordial with the Ad-Promo people.

The Ad-Promo department has assigned staff to go to the shoot and take behind-the-scenes footage.

The first time the Ad-Promo people came to the shoot, they requested Jessy (who was seated inside her van) if she can step out since the set-up for her adprom shoot was now ready.

Jessy reportedly told the adprom person: “Bababa ako. Kukunan ninyo ako ng picture tapos babalik ako sa sasakyan para maghintay na naman na matapos ‘yung set-up. Ayoko, wala sa schedule ko ang promo shoot na iyan.”

The Ad-Prom people were not able to do anything but sigh.

Jessy also had another “emote,” this time concerning her fans (yes, she has fans contrary to our belief) who visit her on the set. She reportedly instructed her makeup artist that in case a fan (or anybody for that matter) would like to have a picture with her, the makeup artist should come to her and say she needs to have her makeup retouched.

The makeup artist would allegedly literally drag Jessy away from the fan (or fans) just to prevent them from having a picture with her. Just imagine how the “dragging” scene looks like.

Jessy ought to be nice to Ad-Prom and to her fans. That is part of her job as an actress.

We didn’t know that Marlo Mortel has a good singing voice until we got the chance to watch him perform in his first major solo concert titled “ImMortelized” which was staged at the Music Museum last Friday (October 26).

He has a unique singing voice and is not a clone of any singer. In short, he is an original and is not trying to sound like another singer, whether foreign or local. Marlo’s fans supported him by packing the venue and cheering him on from the top of their voices.

He said it was a dream to have his own concert. His happiness would have doubled if his mom was able to watch his concert. “I dedicate this concert to my mom. Sayang she did not live long enough to see me fulfill this dream,” said Marlo.

Among his guests were fellow ABS-CBN artists Sue Ramirez and Janella Salvador. The concert also served as the launch of Marlo’s latest album titled “Serye.”

Such interviews will take place over a shared meal, which Chef Sharwin shall cook for the guests. It will be a very candid, but sincere setting. The series hopes for viewers to get to know the guests and be inspired by their stories and views. The initial line-up of celebrity guests include Julie Ann San Jose, Kyline Alcantara, Derrick Monasterio, Donita Rose and beauty queen Mariel de Leon.

“Let’s Do Lunch” will air on GMA News TV Channel 11, every Sunday, 11-11:30 a.m. beginning November 11 and is produced by Curve Entertainment.

A feisty talent manager would never want to do business again with a TV-host actor and his pasosyal na mom, who manages him.

The talent manager was able to get an endorsement deal for the TV host actor for a popular ice cream brand. The only specific request of the product managers (which is stipulated in the contract that the TV host-actor signed) is that he has to be present during the inauguration and blessing of the ice cream brand’s flagship venue.

Despite constant reminders, the TV host-actor came very, very late to the ribbon cutting event. Pissed, the product managers did not bother to wait for the TV host-actor. The ribbon cutting was done without the endorser.

When the TV host-actor finally arrived, his mother even got mad at the coordinator for reminding them.

The talent manager vowed never to do business with them.
