Born and bred in Cebu City, Honeyleen Concepcion - Rosaroso or popularly known as “Hi-C” of the DiCE&k9 MOBBSTARR hip-hop fame has an unmistakable sultry voice that helped popularize hits like “Itsumo,” “BestFriend,” “Shake,” and “Eargasmic” which became quite a college radio phenomenon overseas.
Hi-C ups the ante this time around as she gets ready to release her solo album aptly titled “Fountain of Youth,” a metaphor which represents music as the medium responsible for her seemingly timeless beauty. Having appeared twice on FHM Magazine and being the cover girl for Digital Photographer’s maiden issue, Hi-C had also branched out to other aspects of show business like modeling and acting. She has also appeared on an award winning independent movie by Jim Libiran entitled “Tribu.”
Hi-C is currently busy promoting her group’s 2nd single “Rendezvous” from DiCE&k9 Mobbstarr’s 4th and independent studio album. The video will be playing in all music channels like MYX, Mtv Asia, Channel V Asia and MYX USA. The group will soon tour Japan and the USA to spread the new sound and future of Hip Hop.
Hi-C is also the celebrity endorser of X-Box (online game), WhiteSmile Dental Clinic, Dr. Joey Luat, 6G Swagger and AF Salon / Arena Fitness Center.
