CCCI Coffee Break Highlights

CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu Chamber of Commerce (CCCI) featured company-members from various business sectors, from resort to print media, in Cebu during the third episode of “Coffee Break with CCCI last Wednesday.

Representatives from San Remegio Beach Club, JobStreet.com Philippines Inc., Nexus Properties and Cebu Magazine Exchange promoted their products and services during the event, which will be shown on the Wealth channel.

San Remegio Beach Club is a tourist destination located in San Remegio, a northern town of Cebu. The 8, 000-square meter resort has been a venue for teambuilding activities, company outings and weddings. It has a beach front of more than 400 meters, the longest in Cebu and a shoreline of pure white sand.

Jobstreet on the other hand is an online recruitment website that helps organizations tackle the challenge of a fast, easy and most cost-effective recruitment. The company operates in seven countries across Asia, covering Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Japan and the Philippines. It has forged a strategic alliance with The Network, a global network of leading recruitment websites across Europe, USA, Australia and China.

Nexus Properties is a newcomer in the property development industry. It started selling subdivided lots and building house and lots in prominent subdivisions in Cebu. It aims “to bring people together through building affordable and reliable housing communities and become an active partner in the progress of the province.

Cebu Magazine Exchange on the other hand is a magazine distributor with direct operations in Cebu and Davao. It distributes best-selling titles such as Candy, Cosmopolitan Philippines, YES!, Men’s Health Philippines, among others to more than 250 different trade accounts such as bookstores and magazine shops in Cebu.

“I strongly believe that knowledge, teamwork, perseverance, sacrifice and open communication could help attain your goals. You ought to be physically, intellectually, psychologically and morally trained to have the discipline in handling challenges. In business, training and discipline can make the decisive difference between winners and losers,” company president, Ludwig Federigan said.
