Cebu Landmasters breaks ground in Talisay City

CEBU, Philippines - After the successful groundbreaking of its 16-story mixed-use condominium Asia Premier Residences at Asiatown IT Park last February, Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) brings forth another real estate development in Cebu.

CLI recently broke ground in Talisay City for an 8-hectare residential village, which will be the company’s fourth San Josemaria Village in the province. San Josemaria Villages, which have been present in the Cebu market since September of 2003, consist of high quality homes pegged at very reasonable prices. The first three SJVs are located in Balamban, Toledo City, and Minglanilla.

CLI Chief Executive Officer and President Jose Soberano III said that SJV-Talisay will be composed of four phases.

“We will soon start the construction of phase one,” he said. Phase one, wherein 100 homes will soon be erected, will cover two hectares of the total land area of the subdivision.

SJV-Talisay offers single units as well as two-story houses with lots measuring 85 square meters, 100 square meters, 154 square meters, and 196 square meters. The prices will range from P1.5 million to P3.5 million.

“We’re not professionally selling at the moment, but there are already letters of intent,” Soberano said, adding that phase one is already sold out. Soberano also said that they are still trying to set prices for their lots alone, as there are also interested buyers of lots in the said subdivision.

Soberano who is in partnership with the Sala family, said that the theme of their subdivision is “highland” as the location of the subdivision is on elevated ground.

“This is probably the best of both worlds. You can see the mountains and the ocean,” he said, describing SJV-Talisay as one of the most breathtaking properties.

Soberano further said the accessibility of the property would not be a problem. “We’re just a stone’s throw away from SRP (South Road Properties) and 15 to 20 minutes away from Cebu,” he said.

The target completion date of SJV-Talisay is set around year end of 2011, said Soberano who added that by the time the Phase one will be completed, he expects that majority of the subdivision will already be disposed.

“With this fourth subdivision, there is more to come,” Soberano said as he is also targeting Mactan and Liloan to be the next location of his two upcoming residential developments.

Moreover, Soberano proudly announced that 95% of Asia Premier Residences is already sold.
