The unXplained

UFOs, aliens and alleged abductions have become part of the usual horrorbilia when Halloween comes around. The mere thought of discs of light hovering somewhere or aliens in human skin living among us is probably enough to scare the wits out of some people. For many, however, UFOs and aliens are a fascination and not a source of fear.

It is said that there are hundreds of UFO sightings that happen around the world. However, it seems that most of the alien planets have issued a travel advisory discouraging ETs not to visit our country. Despite the Las Piñas "unexplained lights" case, reports of UFOs and other related sightings are rare in this part of the world. Are they scared that the Abu Sayyaf might kidnap them too?

X-File fanatics need not be sad, however. The Web hosts a bevy of sites that cater to UFOs and aliens. One of them is www.ufoscot-land.f9.co.uk. Primarily a database for sightings that happen in – of course – Scotland, it is also a treasure chest of UFO mpegs (movie clips), including classic videos that were shown on Discovery Channel during its Alien Invasion Week a few years ago. Remember that video showing the test flight of the supersonic Concorde? There was an orb that hovered from the left side of the plane, to its belly, then to the right side, and shot straight up. It’s right here. Even the renowned NASA videos taken from space showing unexplained lights doing incredible maneuvers on the Earth’s outer atmosphere and shooting at each other are right in this site.

To access those movie files, scroll down the page and click the link "Some of the best UFO video footage in the world." The files are accompanied by critiques on the authenticity of the footage.

Another site that offers some footage and other information is the United States UFO Information and Research Center (www.dreaman.org/usufoircindex.html). Here, you can access the American UFO Journal and other galleries of paranormal occurrences. A click on the UFO sightings database takes you to a number of mpeg files and documentaries in real audio format.
