Italy’s beautiful music

Your columnist, Italian ambassador Massimo Roscigno and wife Agnes, maestro Fermo Roscigno, and Rustan Commercial Corp. president Nedy Tantoco.

RENOWNED ITALIAN MAESTROS, pianist Fermo Roscigno and conductor Ruggero Barbieri, recently teamed up with the legendary Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) to pay homage to the timeless music of Italian composer Muzio Clementi and Philippine conductor and composer Redentor Romero. Presented jointly by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), Philippine-Italian Association and Rustan’s, and under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy to the Philippines, the concert brilliantly showcased the cultural aspect of bilateral relations between the Philippines and Italy. Among those who enjoyed the concert were Rustan Commercial Corp. chairman and CEO Nedy Tantoco, CCP president Raul Sunico and Italian ambassador Massimo Roscigno, the proud elder brother of maestro Fermo Roscigno. Also contributing to the concert’s rousing success was the generous support of Calata Corp and The Peninsula Manila as the offi cial hotel partner. Together, the two gifted maestros had the audience saying, “Bravo!”

Congratulazioni!
